About Us
My partner and I have been using these snowshoes for ten years. We are in the maple syrup business, which means a lot of time spent in the woods. We hang lines in mid-February and the flexibility of these snowshoes makes it very easy to hike around the forest where there are fallen trees and stumps at almost every step. The ability to walk forwards and backwards made it so that we did not want just any snowshoe, we needed these.
When we found ourselves in need of more snowshoes, we looked up the original inventor, only to find him out of business. Knowing what great snowshoes these were, we bought his invention and the Treadrites were born.
Snowshoeing is a great way to get back to nature and get a little exercise as well. Our friends and family really enjoy exploring nature in the winter with our Treadrites. We recommend these snowshoes to everyone we know and stand behind this product ourselves.
